The same day that Summer decided to pack her bags and leave us with a torrential downpour...
(torrential |tôˈrenCHəl, tə-|
adjective(of rain) falling rapidly and in copious quantities: a torrential downpour.
• (of water) flowing rapidly and with force....was the same day that we decided to build
While I tried valiantly to stay warm and dry,Scott and Mark got to work. And little bit, by little bit, the flooring, the walls, the upstairs loft and windows were all put into place.
When the rain started to slant sideways with the wind it was called a day!

The window boxes have yet to be put into place. The dutch door handles yet to be secured. But I did manage to run precariously through the raindrops, with Scott's Grandfather's old rocking chair, so that it could sit in the downstairs corner, by the window, and make our new little house feel... well... at home!
I think it must have worked... it looks like it has made itself quite comfortable in our back garden,an inviting little place ready to welcome it's eager little (and not so little) guests!
I am looking forward to many happy hours enjoying this space,
the upstairs loft is perfect for an afternoon of quiet reading,
an evening of sleepover fun with the grandchildren,
or just a lovely place to quietly sit, listen to the raindrops fall,
and with every single drop, count our blessings.
One, by One.
